My wife Heidelinde and I, both raised in Christian families, discovered more fully the commandments of YHWH and his Son our Messiah in the year 2010. Since then, we have been on a journey of trying to understand His voice and follow His lead. This has thus far led to homeschooling our nine children, leaving a career in the medical field and moving to an off-grid homestead in Northern Ontario.
Woodworking has been a hobby for a long time, but it was the blessing of free time during the pandemic that made it possible to take it more seriously. Since arriving in Canada, I have been able both to make a range of small woodwork pieces (engraved wooden art, toys, educational material) as well as, after building my own timber frame, start working part-time in timber framing/carpentry in the region where I live. It is now an honor to make my woodworking available to the body of believers in the river branch and into the river art community.
